Joined SquashSmarts in May 2004 as its Executive Director and is responsible for all fundraising, management and operations of the award-winning non-profit after-school youth enrichment program whose mission changes the lives of inner-city public school students through sports, education and leadership. Notable achievements for SquashSmarts include: 100% college acceptance among seven year seniors; Comcast MVP of the Month; Champion-in-Action award winner from Citizens Bank, NBC and the Philadelphia Inquirer; and the Robert P. Levy Service Award from the Philadelphia Sports Congress. Prior to SquashSmarts, Steve spent four years at the United States Squash Racquets Association as its first Director of Junior Development as well as two years as a teaching professional at the famed Racquet & Tennis Club of New York and the New Haven Lawn and eight years as a varsity member of the NCCA Division I Trinity College Men’s Squash Team and the New England Championship Taft Boy’s Squash Team. Steve is a co-founder of the National Urban Squash Association and the Philadelphia Youth Sports Collaborative and is an active member of the Philadelphia Cricket Club.

Joined SquashSmarts in September 2010 as its Director of Squash & Fitness operations. Britt is responsible for all squash and fitness-related activities, including daily practice sessions, cardiovascular training, volunteer recruitment, and match and tournament participation for the eighty-plus boys and girls enrolled in the SquashSmarts afterschool youth enrichment program serving inner-city public middle and high school students. A native Philadelphian, Britt played competitive squash at CHASS, William Penn Charter School and was a four-year varsity member of the University of Pennsylvania Women ’ Squash Team where she graduated with a degree from the Annenberg School of Communications. Britt is a former United States Junior Open age groups champion and a member of Penn’s championship All Ivy Squash Team. While in school, Britt actively served on Penn’s Student Athletic Advisory Committee and was a volunteer mentor at Big Brother Big Sisters and at SquashSmarts.

Enamullah Khan

Enamullah has played professional squash for more than 20 years, and he is regarded as the ultimate teacher and coach. While in Massachusetts, he served as the Head Squash Professional and Program Director at Cambridge Racquet & Fitness Club, Harvard Business School, Boston Athletic Club, and Greater Boston YMCA. Enamullah has also had great success with junior players, directing the squash program for boys and girls at the Commonwealth School in Boston and the Concord Academy in Concord. Additionally, Enamullah served as Head Squash Pro at Boca Pointe and the Polo Club in Boca Raton, Florida.   In addition to coaching squash at the Healthplex, Enamullah is the Head Squash Coach at several newly-created programs which include Friends’ Central School, Wharton Business School, and Swarthmore College.
